So far we have replaced the HD twice, battery is dead, use a external mouse because the touchpad button sticks down and the inverter cable or inverter is faulty (have to keep moving the screen to fix it). But we still use it every day for developing our games and apps on.

I purchased the laptop in The Grove in Los Angeles, CA, USA. A client flew me over for 3 weeks work and paid me in cash at the end of the 3 weeks, so I went straight to the nearest Apple Store and purchased the MacBook, best thing I ever did!

Would love a MacBook Air (hint, hint) but for now or until Apple decide I have to have the latest OS to develop apps (my MacBook won’t run the latest OS), I won’t be upgrading.

We don’t own any Amazon devices so we tested the app on all the simulator devices and installed it on my sons Nexus 7 and it seem to work perfectly on all of them, so we submitted it. We submitted it on a Friday and by Monday it was approved and on Tuesday it was live on the Amazon App Store.

We are now going to look at our Ball Barrage Remixed game and see if that will be just as easy.

This is great news for us as we can now release our apps we have already developed on Amazon and Google. Am not sure on the Nook and Samsung stores yet, as we are based in the UK.

We have registered and had 1 app approved on the Amazon Store and will do the same on Google Play store ASAP.

Can’t believe it’s been a year already!

Started looking at Moai recently and so far for support/help/docs it’s not a patch on Corona but we are going to stick with it and see what the future holds. Also I wouldn’t mind getting a book on Objective-C and having a look at that.

Well we give up on Moai and have renewed our Corona license (iOS only). We where not planning to renew due to funds but someone has asked us to develop a app for them, so they renewed for us.

We are not even sure what our next game or app is going to be yet (always open to ideas, hint hint).

Our latest game hit the App Store today called Winning Post, it is a universal app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

The game is FREE but does have IAP for coins. You don’t have to use the IAP as you get free coins every 24 hours of playing.

The game is based loosely on the old arcade machine with the same name. You bet on a race on who you think is going to win and win coins calculated on the odds for that runner.

We have 3 different characters to start off with, horses, snails and aliens. with fish and starfish coming soon.

Horses are unlocked for free and then to unlock the other runners you need to purchase them with coins earned.

The game also feature Game Center integration with achievements and a leader board.

This is our first game using IAP, so will be interesting how it turns out.

The biggest feature in this version is the ability to free hand draw on and around your character.

I also increased the size of the buttons on the title page.
