In a frantic battle to the chequered flag, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing sees Sonic and friends speed around tracks set in mediaeval castle ramparts, lush rainforests and bustling cities, all taken from the visually rich and varied universes of Sonic and SEGA. Fan favourites such as Dr. Eggman, Tails, AiAi, Amigo and many more will join Sonic in their custom built vehicles, revving their engines and jostling to stay ahead of the pack. Each character will race around the track in cars, planes, motorbikes, and in AiAi's case a banana mobile! Secret short cuts, swift handling and avoiding strategically placed obstacles are certainly the best way to get to the top of the podium. And winning is only part of the fun in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing! Each character has a specific All Star move such as Super Sonic, Banana Blitz and Tails Tornado, allowing a quick way for competitors to get back into the race! Power ups and weapons can also be collected around the tracks and used against the opposition to ensure they don't become a threat to that number one position Players can battle it out in single or multiplayer mode, allowing up to four friends to race in frantic split-screen action, or up to eight players to compete online in the ultimate racing showdown.Can Amigo scramble Dr. Eggman? Summary: Best Racing Game Ever!
Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing is pure addictive fun! It plays very much like the Outrun series with Mario Kart style weapons and gameplay. If you played Mario Kart, then you'll feel right at home here.
Gameplay is simple and easy to pick up. Anyone will be able to handle this no problem. Drifting feels fantastic and is the best drifting mechanic I experienced in any racer, and skilled players will be having a blast mastering drifting. You pick up items like in Mario Kart, and some feel like Mario Karts weapons, but it has some new ones up it's sleeve like the Mega Horn and Giant Rocket. Every character has their own All Star Move which can get you back in the race if your falling behind. Every characters All Star Move is a thrill to do and tons of fun to activate. Thankfully, there are no items that feel like the Blue Shell like in Mario Kart, so those who despise Blue Shells will be pleased.
Many modes are included like Grand Prix, Mission Mode, Time Trial, Shopping, Multiplayer Split Screen and Xbox Live Multiplayer. This game will keep you going for a very long time.
Graphics are incredible and audio consists of many classic Sega Music from past Sega games and character voices. The presentation is solid and is brilliant to see in motion.
For Sega fans, there's plenty to enjoy here with 22 characters from Sega Classics like Sonic The Hedgehog, Billy Hatcher, Jet Set Radio, Super Monkey Ball, Samba De Amigo, Crazy Taxi, House Of The Dead and many others that will really surprise you. Even Banjo & Kazooie make a special guest apperance for the 360 version.
Of all the Mario Kart style games, this is by far the best I ever played, and actually much better than Mario Kart as this is much more fun, engaging and stable. If your tired of Mario Kart or if you want to try a new Kart Racer, then this is perfect. Sega Fans will also get a kick out of this with great fun and tons of Nostalgia and Fan Service. This is the best Racer I have ever experienced. A solid 10/10

Summary: Awesome game and gr8 fun for all ages!!!!
This game is really good fun online and off.And i haven`t had any framerate issues at all and i play it off the HDD (HARDRIVE)
But the one thing i didn`t like about this game is that theirs no replays of your races which is ashame,maybe that will get added later on in a add on or something.They could of added more players to play online with as it`s only up to 8 but still it`s still gr8 fun and worth every penny!!!! You have got mission mode,trial mode,grand prix mode and single race mode. ive only tried the grand prix mode so far and its just the same as the mario kart set up where you need to get as many points as possible to win the cup and open up new courses!! I`ll leave it at that but overall i would give it 8-10 so far as i only got the game yesterday.
PS If you would like my gamertag then please ask as i could do with a few friends to play this online with,i am 26 going on 12 lol ( English only please )

Man kann es Stundenlang spielen und mit der UK-Version die auch deutsche Srache hat,macht

Summary: It's a winner!
This game is really good, better than i expected! It's exactly like Mario Karts but with better graphics and frankly much better race courses. I also personally prefer it to Mario karts because all of the sega characters are really sentimental to me as i grew up with sega, but not everybody agrees with me that its better than mario.
Still, it's really awesome and worth every penny, i play it with my friends ALOT and playing on live is really good :D

Summary: Classic Family fun
This is Segas version of MARIO RACING and It does a pretty good job of matching maybe even surpassig the Nintendo classic. I rented this for my son and th whole of the fmily had a great time taking it in turns and split screen racing. BUT WHERE THE GAME REALLY COMES ALIVE IS ON xbOX LIVE WHERE YOU CAN RACE people from all over th world. The characters in the Sega universe are al in place nd it really einforces what a rich universe Sega has under its bely. Since renting we have bought this for both the WII and XBox. The vibrant colours on the 360 relly stand out whereas the motion sencig on WII adds anoth dimension. If I ahd to choose Id say the 60 version is my favourite. A Family classic that I cant praise highly enough.
